The corruption began when Senator Mitch McConnell, a functionary of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, refused to allow the Senate to hold confirmation hearings for President Barack Obama's nominee, Merrick Garland. This went on for a year, with ZERO push-back from Obama or from the Democratic Party.
